About David

David Jordan is a decorated Army veteran who wants to help the community understand not only the history of the military but offer them a chance to see things that some never get to see unless you’ve served or been a military family member.

Our company in Denton Texas was created to offer a unique dining experience. The theme behind the shop is military and pays respects to all 5 branches of the military from the decor on the walls to the shadowbox tables to the menu. Each table offers an educational experience with different memorabilia. The food has military jargon names to poke fun and bring humor into the day. Each sauce is custom made daily and goes well with all the sandwiches.

We have a dedicated table for our fallen soldiers by the front door. We also have a hometown heroes wall to help showcase our local veterans and thank them for their service.

VISION STATEMENT:  To help the homeless veterans of the WORLD to get off the streets and reconnect with society and their loved ones.

In the military, “got your six” means “I’ve got your back.” The saying originated with World War I fighter pilots referencing the rear of an aeroplane as the six o’clock position. If you picture yourself at the centre of a clock face, the area directly in front of you is twelve o’clock. Six o’clock is what lies behind you. On a battlefield, your “six” is the most vulnerable. So, when someone tells you that they’ve “got your six,” it means they’re watching your back. By extension, that person expects you to have their back as well. “Got your six” is now a ubiquitous term in the military that also highlights the way military members look out for each other.
